Ernst Strasser
Ernst Strasser is Managing Partner of VCP Energy & Power GmbH, where we develop and coordinate power projects in the CEE region.
Prior to joining VCP he was Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Austria. Key events during his term as Minister were the EU enlargement and the merger of the Austrian police forces.
Prior to his term as a Minister, Mr. Strasser was Chief Whip of the Peoples Party (ÖVP) in Lower Austria. He was further responsible for the strategic development and planning of Umdasch AG in the early 1990’s.
Mr. Strasser holds a Doctor’s degree in law from the University of Salzburg, graduating in 1981.
