Investment Banking Analyst
Corporate Finance / Mergers & Acquisitions / Private Equity
Responsibilities:
• Extensive industry and company research
• Preparing pitch documents and other presentations
• Assisting in the preparation of valuations (DCF, comparable valuations, etc.) and other transaction-related documentation (information memoranda, reports, etc.)
• Assisting in deal execution (organization, logistics, documentation)
• Interfacing with clients
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• University degree obtained or to be obtained shortly in Business Administration/ Management or related studies with specialization in finance
• Strong analytical skills
• Sound theoretical background in and good understanding of financial economics, accounting and management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in German and English
• Knowledge of an Eastern European language is an advantage
• Work experience (internships) in investment banking or related fields such as auditing, consulting (with emphasis on finance), commercial banking, corporate development, strategic business planning is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure, high motivation and commitment, team orientation
• Good computer skills (standard office applications, internet)
