Investment Banking Associate
Corporate Finance / Mergers & Acquisitions / Private Equity
Responsibilities:
• Financial and economic analysis for acquisitions, mergers, buy-outs, etc.
• Assisting in deal execution and structuring
• Preparing pitch documents and other presentations
• Preparing valuations (DCF, comparable valuations, etc.) and other
transaction-related documentation (Information Memoranda, reports, etc.)
• Interfacing with client
• Guiding junior analysts in extensive industry and company research
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• University degree in Business Administration/Management or related studies
with specialisation in finance
• One to two years work experience in investment banking or related fields such as auditing, consulting (with emphasis on finance), commercial banking, corporate development, strategic business planning
• Sound theoretical background in and good understanding of financial economics, accounting and management
• Experience in preparing DCF valuations and in drafting information memoranda or similar documents
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English and good working knowledge of German
• Knowledge of an Eastern European language is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure, high motivation and commitment, team orientation
• Good computer skills (standard office applications, internet)
